    <description>hi there,&lt;BR /&gt;suppose i have a problem with ops cluster(two node cluster) &amp;amp; for some reason i &lt;BR /&gt;want to start ops with single node with out the cluster. how can i do that at &lt;BR /&gt;the unix level(autoraid-shared pool) and at oracle parallel server level if &lt;BR /&gt;possible.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;your responce are highly appreciated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;bye&lt;BR /&gt;sharif&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;oracle parallel server 8.1.5 32 bit &lt;BR /&gt;hpux ver. 11 with mc/lockmanager ver. 11.06</description>

      <description>If you are starting Oracle on only one of the systems, is there a reason you &lt;BR /&gt;still need to start OPS? Or, can you just start the Oracle instance without &lt;BR /&gt;OPS?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
