I would like to overide network routing and send all sendmail messages to a
specific hosts/destination.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Please give us a bit more information on what you are trying to do? I presume
you don't want to use any gateways you want to go directly to a host? is this
right?

I was able to resolve this by stating a relay host destination "also no as DS
parameter in /etc/mail/sendmail.cf.
