topic eisa config problem..? in Operating System - HP-UX

I have removed a VISUALIZE-EG graphic eisa board on my C180.. Since then I
always get an error message at boot time from eisa_config that tells me that
the card in slot 1 has been removed or that it does not work anymore... And
when I do an eisa_config it tells me that my board is still present...Why? I've
tried to do a remove command in eisa_config but it tells me that it "cannot
remove embedded board: HP EISA system board".. And if I do an ioscan it tells
me that there is an unknown Class EISA board... What's wrong?

It sounds like you just need to go into eisa_config, type "save" (minus the
quotes), then type "quit", then reboot the machine. That should fix the
problem.

I did a save in eisa_config and now my system reboot continously.... It always
does an eisa_config at boot time and say that it has found a new card in slot 0
and then it saves the new configuration and then it reboots... Now how can I
get my system working again..?
