    <description>My ARPA Transport patch is PHNE_20436 which I install recently together with &lt;BR /&gt;other dependencies patch.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My npty is 300, nstrpty is 1155, nstrtels is 1155. 99% of my users use a telnet &lt;BR /&gt;session to access this host.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pls do not hesitate to ask if the info is insufficient.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanx.</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am running a V-Class, HP-UX11.0. I have a lot of the above message in my &lt;BR /&gt;syslog.log all the time. What dies the above means? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sample message:&lt;BR /&gt;Jan 24 10:55:48 svxxx001 telnetd[9955]: getpid: peer died: Error 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanx.</description>

      <description>There are a few things you need to look at here.&lt;BR /&gt;First ensure you have the lates ARPA XPORT patch, and all dependencies &lt;BR /&gt;installed and configured.&lt;BR /&gt;You then need to look at the kernel parameters:&lt;BR /&gt;npty&lt;BR /&gt;nstrpty&lt;BR /&gt;nstrtels&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and increase the number in the kernel.&lt;BR /&gt;This will then reuire a kernel rebuild and a reboot using the new kernel.</description>
