    <description>memlogd is a process that is used by the diagnostics to monitor and log errors &lt;BR /&gt;from the memory subsystem.&lt;BR /&gt;There could be some memory errors causing the this cpu useage, but there could &lt;BR /&gt;also be a patch needed for this.&lt;BR /&gt;Unfortunately you do not specify the system nor the Operating System , but as &lt;BR /&gt;an example ther eis a patch for the STm (Supprot Tools Manager ) for S800 &lt;BR /&gt;systems at 10.20 that has the following information:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The memlogd daemon goes into an infinite loop on Nova Class systems&lt;BR /&gt;PHSS_17886&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope that helps</description>

      <description>Does anyone have an idea of what memlogd does?  We have a system where it is &lt;BR /&gt;taking runq to one and has a cpu util of 97%.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It does not seem to have a man page.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;John</description>
