    <description>I am facing a problem with "slp"command in hpux 10.20&lt;BR /&gt;running on HP 9000 D230 server.&lt;BR /&gt;When I issue the command &lt;BR /&gt;slp -c80 -i0 -n &amp;gt;/dev/c2t0d0_lp&lt;BR /&gt;it gives an error &lt;BR /&gt;"slp: error -- stdout is not a printer!"&lt;BR /&gt;     with the same os In G30 server this command&lt;BR /&gt; works fine.&lt;BR /&gt;   Does anyone know the solution for this problem.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>The slp commmand was designed for use with the lpr2 driver only. This driver is &lt;BR /&gt;not used on the D-class as it is for a parallel driver and card, that is not &lt;BR /&gt;supported in a D-class. The parallel interface driver on the D-class uses the &lt;BR /&gt;CentIf driver.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I believe you can achieve the same result by editing the printer interface &lt;BR /&gt;script and add in the line:&lt;BR /&gt;lmargin=0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH</description>
