    <description>Alan gives you the most accurate answer of using fsadm to perform this check. &lt;BR /&gt;However, I want to clarify that the man page may show you incorrect format on &lt;BR /&gt;this command. It suggests:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# fsadm -F fs_type /block_device&lt;BR /&gt;such as in:&lt;BR /&gt;# fsadm -F hfs /dev/vg00/lvol8&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The correct format uses either the raw device file or the mount point:&lt;BR /&gt;# fsadm -F hfs /dev/vg00/rlvol&lt;BR /&gt;# fsadm -F hfs /var</description>

      <description>/etc/default/fs tells you what type of local file systems you have.Check out &lt;BR /&gt;the man page for fsadm.</description>

      <description>Gary,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Within your /etc/fstab file, you should see an largefiles in the options field &lt;BR /&gt;of that file.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
