https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-hp-ux/problem-with-automounter/m-p/2420315#M766552 I'm having some problems with an automounted NFS.<BR />All attempts to cd into or ls on the NFS hang, and I get the following error <BR />message in the syslog....<BR />Mar 23 13:18:59 system01 vmunix: NFS server (pid1206@/systems) not responding <BR />still trying<BR />I can't unmount it, nor mount it. From the mount point, I can ls, but not ls <BR />-l.<BR />I can also mount the same NFS successfully to another mount point.<BR />ls -l from / also hangs.<BR />This is an HA system, and I don't want to have to reboot, is there a way I can <BR />free things up?<BR />I tried a kill -1 on the automounter process, to no avail.<BR />I know the man page says don't try SIGKILL but I'm tempted! Is there any way I <BR />can check what is <BR />automounted successfully?<BR />Appreciate any ideas at all!! That should mount your files <BR />whenever accessed.
