    <description>Have you checked the file that there are no ^M inside&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;with&lt;BR /&gt;dos2ux  PHCO_19064&lt;BR /&gt;you will not remove the ^M &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;do for example&lt;BR /&gt;dos2ux &lt;PHCO_19064&gt; patchfile&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and than do &lt;BR /&gt;sh patchfile&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you should get two files. One depot and one txt files.&lt;BR /&gt;Use the depot file to install the patch.&lt;/PHCO_19064&gt;</description>

      <title>Error in using sh command</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;   I've used the command sh &lt;PATCH file=""&gt; and I encountered the error &lt;BR /&gt;    PHCO_19046[15]: ^M: not found.&lt;BR /&gt;    PHCO_19046[16]: LANG^M: This is not an identifier.&lt;BR /&gt;I've downloaded the patch file from HP site, save it as text file, rename it &lt;BR /&gt;from PHCO_19046.txt to PHCO_19046. Transfer it to Unix box as binary, do dos2ux &lt;BR /&gt;and then I'm trying now to unshar the patch but I encountered this error. How &lt;BR /&gt;will I proceed then and what are the commands to install patch.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope you can help me.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;/PATCH&gt;</description>

      <description>In my opinion, you should not use dos2ux command, cause shellpatch already is &lt;BR /&gt;in unix format.&lt;BR /&gt;So you just have to put it into your UNIX box and shell it. (sh -c filename)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That's all.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Vassily Gorbounov</description>

      <description>When you download the patch on an NT Box an save is as text file the patch is &lt;BR /&gt;not in unix format...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;in this case you should use dos2ux</description>
