topic X11 version information in Operating System - HP-UX

X11 version information

Hi there,

How can I obtain information about the X11 R6 version is installed on my
machine (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) ?

My system information (from uname) is:
HP-UX B.10.20 C 9000/813

The machine is a D230 model.

To find the version of the Xserver : run a what on :
/usr/bin/X11/X or run graphinfo command to get info on additional api libraries
etc.

The actual X11 shared libraries etc are installed under /usr/lib/X11R4, X11R5 &
X11R6 : Check the release notes or perhaps man X for starters on what is & is
not supported.

Thanks for the information.

Running "what /usr/bin/X11/X" I got:

/usr/bin/X11/X:
Built for: 10.20.ace on HP-UX Daily, -O +Onolimit
X Window System, Version 11 R6
(build date: Fri Apr 3 13:34:38 MST 1998)

Does that mean it is X11 R6.0 ? if it were R 6.1 would it be shown by the what
command ?
