External Modem

I've been asked to fit an external modem to a HP K Class 9000 [HP Release
B.10.10] unix host. The host has an HP 9000 Core I/O card that has a 25 pin
female port labeled 'EXTERNAL MODEM'. Can anyone give me some advise\guidance
on how to complete the work as I have no documentation available.

Hi,

The K Class server's core I/O card has an internal and external modem
connection. The two external ports still have the same hardware address and you
will not be able to run both.
