      <description>Hi....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can find out your system model by giving command "uname -m".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#uname -m (This will o/p as follows)&lt;BR /&gt;9000/8XX or 9000/7XX &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;9000/8XX- This indicates your system is server&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;9000/7XX - This indicates your system is Workstation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All system HP server/Workstation Hardware model is 9000.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;8XX series are server.&lt;BR /&gt;7XX series are workstation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;by&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;suren.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You could also use the command:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;model&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It shows more specific:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;9000/859/K220 = HP9000 / K220 = Server&lt;BR /&gt;9000/779/C160L = HP9000 / C160L = Workstation</description>

      <description>Once you've got the model name, you can even find out what processor it's running by looking in the sched.models file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It's either in /opt/langtools/lib or /usr/sam/lib/mo</description>
