Hi,
with Ignite-UX installed and a tape connected to the system, you can use the command:
/opt/ignite/bin/make_recovery -A -d /dev/rmt/0mn
This command make a tape_recovery of core volume group of your installation.
After that you can boot from the tape and install a new system.
Bye,
Matteo.

If you have to install additional third party software and configure printer drivers, etc, after the OS install then "make_recovery -A" will may work out better for you as it will include all the configuration information in the tape. The golden image does not handle this. To clone the B-class, I usually install and the software and performe all the configuration on one machine and use "make_recover -A" to create a bootable tapes. On subsequent machines, I boot them off this tape and then run set_parms to change their network specific information. That saves a lot of work. Hope this helps you.
