Missing Screen Capture in HP-UX 11.0

I am trying to find out what product to install (from the June 2000 Application CD's) to restore "Screen Capture" in a CDE environment. My J2240's came from Hp with 10.20ACE and Screen Capture was already there. I know there are after market screen captures, but how do I install the one we had? The pull down option for Screen Capture is still there for my users, but gets an error that says: Cannot find the file /usr/dt/appconfig/appmanager/C/Digital_Media/ScreenCapture. Digital_Media is missing from the /usr/dt/app../app../C/ directory.

Lanny,

according to the release notes for hp-ux 11.0 the screen capture utility is no longer provided with a Core Os Install.

MPower/Web Product now provides the screen capture among other multimedia applications.

You should find the product on cd #3 of 4.

From : HP-UX 11.00 Release Notes "screencapture"
is no longer shipped as part of HP-UX CORE media and has moved to the MPower/Web product.

S700's B5357AAA
S800's B5359AAA

installs under /opt/wt/.....

On June app's CD look for above product numbers / HP MPOWER//WEB, for S700's iI found it on CD 3.

If you find you still have problems try something like dtaction Capture on the command line, does it work or fail ? Use CDE diagnostic : dr_dt, check your $HOMe/.dt/error and startlogs together with /var/dt/Xerrors for clues .... hopefully all will go smoothly though.
