      <description>If you want to be able to remotely log in as root on a solaris box ( and are not worried about security) do the following:&lt;BR /&gt;1. Edit the file /etc/default/login&lt;BR /&gt;and comment out the line that says:&lt;BR /&gt;CONSOLE=/dev/console.&lt;BR /&gt;ie. it should read&lt;BR /&gt;#CONSOLE=/dev/console&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck</description>

      <description>If you are getting "login incorrect" and you know you have been putting in the correct passwd, the the CONSOLE line.</description>
