      <description>Robert:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One solution is to specify the default umask at the time the ftpd daemon is launced by inetd.  Add "-u &lt;UMASK&gt;" to the inetd entry for ftpd and restart inetd with "inetd -c".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Another solution is to create an anonymous FTP environment.  See document #A4747623 for a guideline.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;...JRF...&lt;/UMASK&gt;</description>
