I get the following error when I try to view
the USERS in the Accounts section of SAM:

UNEXPECTED EXIT: process /usr/sam/lbin/samx -C -p
22698 -s users /usr/sam/lib//ug.ui exited with a non-zero exit status.

sh: 23478 Bus error(coredump)

I can however view/modify the GROUPS in Accounts in SAM.

Anyone have a fix for this? Is there a particular patch for this?

Thanks

Hi,

This happens sometimes when all the filesets are not configured properly.

execute "/usr/sbin/swconfig * "

Once this is complete, invoke SAM and give a try.

Cheers

Update the latest SAM/OBAM patch for 10.20 is PHCO_19990, PHCO_18217 has been superceded by this patch.

Regards
This is normally a result of unconfigured filesets. Try this:

# swlist -l fileset -a state | grep -v # | grep -v configured

If this command gives any output then you have unconfigured filesets (likely patches).

Correct with swconfig:
# swconfig *

Rerun the swlist command above to see if all or most of the unconfigured filesets are now configured.

After this completes rerun SAM and it should no longer exhibit the same problems.
