      <description>Hello , I just installned HPUX11.11,&lt;BR /&gt;When I tried to start the CDE using xmanager there was a problem.&lt;BR /&gt;refering to Xerror logs:&lt;BR /&gt;# cat /var/dt/Xerrors&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sat Nov 11 13:06:50 2006&lt;BR /&gt;error (pid 2737): Hostname hpux is invalid. Setting DISPLAY to ':0'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Fatal server error:&lt;BR /&gt;Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't already running&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sat Nov 11 13:06:50 2006&lt;BR /&gt;error (pid 2737): Server unexpectedly died&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sat Nov 11 13:06:55 2006&lt;BR /&gt;error (pid 2737): Server for display :0 can't be started.&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# hostname&lt;BR /&gt;hpux&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# nslookup hpux&lt;BR /&gt;*** Warning - the local domain is not set.&lt;BR /&gt;*** Either hostname should be a domain name,&lt;BR /&gt;*** the domain should be specified in /etc/resolv.conf,&lt;BR /&gt;*** or the shell variable LOCALDOMAIN should be set.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Name Server:  ns2.evrocom.net&lt;BR /&gt;Address:  217.10.240.242&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Trying DNS&lt;BR /&gt;Trying NIS&lt;BR /&gt;looking up FILES&lt;BR /&gt;Name:    hpux&lt;BR /&gt;Address:  192.168.0.9&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But &lt;BR /&gt;# ping hpux&lt;BR /&gt;ping: unknown host hpux&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;# cat /etc/hosts |grep hpux&lt;BR /&gt;192.168.0.9     hpux&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How I can fix this problem?&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you in advance.</description>

      <description>Hi, it seems you didn't setup your DISPLAY environment. run "echo $DISPLAY" if you got nothing then run:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;export DISPLAY=&lt;HOST&gt;:0.0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;HOST&gt; is either the host name or IP where you run xmanager.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yang&lt;/HOST&gt;&lt;/HOST&gt;</description>

      <description>I used broadcast feature of xmanager. I just fixed the resolv problem it was from /etc/nsswtich.conf</description>
