<title>topic Problems moving from c89 to cc in Operating System - HP-UX</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-hp-ux/problems-moving-from-c89-to-cc/m-p/2462828#M772171</link>
<description>When I compile C source using cc I get the message "error 1705 - Function prototypes are an ANSI feature". I understand that cc is not an ANSI compiler but I do not have c89 on this new machine. Are there known work arounds or do I need the other compiler? Any information would be useful. Thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
