      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;The 'right' answer depends on the reason behind your question.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;'glance' is great for a quick hands-on drill down.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;'sar' is better for longer term monitorring/scripting for benchmakrs and such.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;'OpenView' and other 'management' tools are better for longer term performance and capacity planning purposes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What problem are you trying to solve?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hth,&lt;BR /&gt;Hein van den Heuvel&lt;BR /&gt;HvdH Performance Consulting&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>yes... as told above.. if depends on what you are looking at.. you can use  vmstat (Virtual Memory ) , glance.. or top should be a simple way to find out. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you want online monitoring, use glance&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For historical performance figures, you will have to use measureware.
