    <description>Deep,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You DB start when you start the cluster.&lt;BR /&gt;So change the parameter that the cluster doesn't start automaticly&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/rc.config.d/cmcluster&lt;BR /&gt;AUTOSTART_CMCLD=0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Or change the value AUTO_RUN to NO in the package configuration file&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I am using Oracle 10g RAC over HP-UX 11iV2 plateform,My both oracle instance of cluster start automatically when i start my server machines.I am using Oracle clusterware &lt;BR /&gt;i want to start them manually,can someone suggest how can change my database instances to manual start.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanx in advance !&lt;BR /&gt;Deep</description>
