      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;While file trnafering through FTP to my HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/785 machine, &lt;BR /&gt;I got sendfile: Broken pipe error.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am using following command in FTP prompt,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ftp&amp;gt; get filename&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After that I am getting sendfile: Broken pipe error,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kindly help me to resolve this issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in Advance.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Prasant</description>

      <description>Broken pipe suggests the data connection closed before the file was transferred (HP-UX ftpd will send files with the sendfile() call).  The suggestion about firewalls is a good one, and/or perhaps checking TCP stats.</description>
