sendfile: Broken pipe error during FTP

Hi,
While file trnafering through FTP to my HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/785 machine,
I got sendfile: Broken pipe error.

I am using following command in FTP prompt,

ftp> get filename

After that I am getting sendfile: Broken pipe error,

Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

Hi Prasant,

Ensure that permissions of destination directory are correct, and that destination filesystem has enough free space. Also make sure a firewall isn't getting in the way.

Broken pipe suggests the data connection closed before the file was transferred (HP-UX ftpd will send files with the sendfile() call). The suggestion about firewalls is a good one, and/or perhaps checking TCP stats.
