    <description>swinstall does not have PGP capability.  You would need to install PGP; you could then use it to verify a detatched signature before running swinstall.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Of course, this presupposes that you have packages that have been PGP signed.  Until vendors start doing that....</description>

      <description>Hmmm....Interersting question....I don't think that swinstall supports those.  I haven't heard of anythings else that will either.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;A digital signature would be another way to verify that a product is valid and that it is from who you think it is.</description>
