https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-hp-ux/nstrpty/m-p/2471798#M775472 As far as I know, NONE of the configurable kernel parameters can be changed without requiring a rebuild of the kernel and a reboot of the machine. <BR /><BR />Unfortunately HP hasn't gotten to the point of using the Dynamically Loadable Kernel Modules yet. When those come along, you might have a chance at being able to change a parameter and have it take effect with just a rebuild of that particular DLKM and no reboot.<BR /><BR />As it stands now though, you have to rebuild the kernel and reboot the machine.
