Dear All,

We are having HP 9000 servers L-1000
HPUX 11.00 working in for various ISP
Applications.
There are some clarifications reqd abt
WebQos.

1. What is WebQos? In what way it can help
us ? (For ISP)
2. Is WEBQOS is bundled along with HPUX 11.00?
If no how to goahead if we want to use?
3. If it is Bundled how to install? How to
configure? What are all the things we need
to keep in care before starting?

HP WebQoS is a multi-platform server-based software that ensures the optimal online customer experience by allowing web site managers to proactively control web site performance and resources. With WebQoS, companies can respond more efficiently during periods of peak demand and save valuable time and resources in meeting customer needs.

WebQOS is one of HP OpenView line of products..(at leas I though it was untill I saw the new web address!!).

It is not bundled with the HP-UX operating system and is usually purchased separately.

By the way, the first paragraph is straight from the web-site..

Just as an add on, WebQoS has functionality out of the box, but it is also VERY customizable...Full functionality will require customization based on your specific requirements.

But Almost all the contents of the site
which you mentioned webqos.hp.com I read
before I post this query here in ITRC.
Those informations are not so clear and not
clarifing my doubts.
