How to add Network-Based Printer/plotter using SAM?

I want to install a Network_based Printer/plotter(add printer/plotter connected to HP JetDirect) using SAM,but there occured a error "The HP JetDirect printer software is not installed on your system (neither the command "/opt/hpnpl/admin/jetadmin" exists). Therefore, it is not possible to add a printer that is connected to an HP JetDirect interface."
How can I do?

In order to do this you MUST first install the Jetdirect / Jetadmin software. There is no way to get this to work otherwise.

It should. I am not sure which CD though. Maybe CD 1.

When you mount the CD, check for an INDEX file. That will list everything on the application CD. Look for JetAdmin.

I think you can not find it in HP Application software CDs. I did this before, but only can download.

If you buy a HP JetDirect it come with a Installation CD. In that CD you can find the HP11E118.SD file (software depot) under the UNIX/HPUX/11.x folder. Copy the file to your server or mount the CD then type this command for installation.

swinstall -s /path/of/HP11E118.SD or
swinstall -s /CD/UNIX/HPUX/11.x/HP11E118.SD
where CD is the mount point of cdrom

mark for install then install
