Jeffrey:

Run 'cleanup' without any arguments. This provides a measure of "safefy" in the event that a patch needs to be backed out, but still recovers considerable space in /var after installation of GR bundles. See the man pages for 'cleanup'.

...JRF...

In trying to understand more about the full effects of running a "cleanup" against all superseded patches on my systems, I'm looking for the answer to the following question.

If I run a "cleanup" to remove all patches that have been superseded more then once, will I still be able to do a rollback if the need calls for it? Is it a better rule of thumb to only do a "cleanup" for superseded patches of more than 2 times?

I did a man cleanup on my 10.2 and it shows up.

To summarize what clean up does it will not do a removale without user intervention. It also haves a few options to go along with it
