what do i have to do to install MySQL on my HP-UX 11.11 server.

please help me, do any one have more documets.

Shalom Ceasar,

Download the ixMysql component of HP's Internet Express Package.

There are 70 packages there.

Lets say you upload it to /tmp

swinstall -s /tmp/ixmysql.depot \*

The name will be a little different, but thats the idea.

You don't need a document to install it.

Do you possibily need a document to configure it after installation?

I suspect the procedure will be similar regardless of the MySQL version so hopefully the procedure will be very similar to that documented here http://sunsite.mff.cuni.cz/MIRRORS/ftp.mysql.com/doc/en/Binary_notes-HP-UX.html

fyi most s/w packages installed on hpux come in depot format and are effectively just tar archives.
