Hi,
I want to install an external modem on HP-9000 (R-Class) server. HP-UX 10.XX is running on it. Can any body tell me the steps to install it?

use the serial connector to connect the modem.

Shalom Abdul,

Once the modem is installed, you can just use sam to configure it.

sam lets you view the comands it used which will provide you a guide after the fact of a sam implementation.

The instructions depend on which port you connect the modem to (Core I/O port vs. mux port, etc.)
