      <description>Ah~~&lt;BR /&gt;Sorry&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the same step that you install a patch on your system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the firmware file is a depot type.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. just locate the file on a proper derectory&lt;BR /&gt;2. swinstall -s $PWD/&lt;FILE&gt;.depot&lt;BR /&gt;3. reboot &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That's it&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;nanan&lt;/FILE&gt;</description>

      <description>"fcmsutil /dev/fc0 vpd"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here are the contents of man fcmsutil related to upgrade firmware with command&lt;BR /&gt;but as you can see it is so an unsafe way that they suggest to upgrade by HP engineer&lt;BR /&gt;because you may face a problem while upgrading the firmware and it may be distructive &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In addition, this command can be applied at specific FC cards (DUAL PORT and FC/GigE&lt;BR /&gt;                     Combo cards.)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#fcmsutil /dev/fc0 rom_fw_update &lt;BIN file=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;rom_fw_update (QL)&lt;BR /&gt;                     This option is used to update the ROM firmware stored&lt;BR /&gt;                     in card's FLASH ROM.  WARNING: This is a DESTRUCTIVE&lt;BR /&gt;                     operation.  Using this option may result in failure of&lt;BR /&gt;                     current I/O requests.  This option requires the name of&lt;BR /&gt;                     a binary image file that contains the updated firmware.&lt;BR /&gt;                     This operation should only be performed by qualified&lt;BR /&gt;                     personnel.       <description>At ITRC home, look up menue you can see "Support &amp;amp; Drivers"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cleck then input the product NO A6826A &lt;BR /&gt;with select the task icon and search&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cleck download driver and software&lt;BR /&gt;select OS &lt;BR /&gt;cleck firmware then&lt;BR /&gt;you can download the firmware&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you need to gunzip the file in your system&lt;BR /&gt;then tar xvf &lt;FILE&gt;.tar &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can get file "ql2312fw.bin"&lt;BR /&gt; for your RP system&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# use the command we've talked &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fcmsutil &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards &lt;BR /&gt;nanan&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FILE&gt;</description>
