Oracle 9i installation

Dear All,

I have HP-UX 9000 series c8000 class machine, having OS 11.11i. Currently I have installed Oracle 9.2.0.7 and created the database successfully.

I am able to connect to database, start and shutdown as SYSDBA, but I will get an error as enclosed in this request when I try to connect as system to database.

Please help me sort out this issue.

Hi,
have you seen metlink note :302775.1 ?
1) Login as the user who installed ORACLE (the owner of the binaries)

2) cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin

3) chmod 6751 oracle
