    <description>Hi:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the 'rc' scipts follow standards (see the manpages for 'rc') then every script in '/sbin/init.d' not only has links in '/sbin/rc?.d' but a *configuration* variable in '/etc/rc.config.d'.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The basename of the script in '/sbin/init.d' generally matches that in '/etc/rc.config.d'.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Generally, too, a single variable with a value of zero (0) means "don't startup".
