Install hpux on rx4640 w/ smart array 6400

Created raid on the controller but hpux install shows no drives. I assume drivers need to be loaded, can not find doc on this procedure. Can someone point me in the right direction?

it is a 6402 - 2 channel card.

Since you are installing HP-UX, there aren't any drivers, just the processor ROMs that scan for I/O cards. Here is the manual:

The procedure is not simple:

Essentially, you CANNOT cold-install HP-UX from a CD or DVD -- the processor ROMs won't see the card as a bootable device (you've seen that already). Instead, you make an Ignite make-recovery tape from a system that already contains the special Smart Array drivers, etc, then restore that image to the system with the Smart Array card.
