hi. Just a question about remote mounting. I remotely mounted the cdrom directory on nnm box 1 to a remote server nnm box 2. (via sam). now when i attempt to access the cdrom directory on nnm box1 i get a message saying:

sh: cdrom: Permission denied.

can anyone shed some light on this?

cheers!

Hi,

The question is quite misleading. Let me try to understand the question first.

Please confirm whether my rephrasing is correct...

CDROM, directly attached to NNM1, You are exporting the cdrom mount through NFS from NNM1 via sam. Now you have mounted the Exported cdrom mount onto NNM2.And now you are not able to access the cdrom on NNM1.

Is this your situation.

Regards,
Senthil Kumar .A

Have you mounted the CDROM locally i.e. on server nnm box1.

cheers!
