      <description>Anoop,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Its not a reserved id or created by any utilities or configurations that came with the OS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Someone just wrote a script or as others have said, its a result of third paty software.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fpid is nothing to HP-UX as far as I know.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>It means no more and no less than the script's author intended for it to mean. It's just a variable and your question has no meaning unless taken in context. You should be able to find a statement in your script like "fpid=xxxxxxxx" or "read fpid" and that will tell you exactly what fpid means.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
