wdb version 3.1 and version 5.3 on same system

I am trying to have both wdb version 3.1 and 5.3 on the same system. I tried installing at a different directory,/opt/wdb/opt/langtools/bin for the newer 5.3.

Unlike the previous version which had /opt/langtools/bin/wdb I am unable to find a wdb executable for the new install.

I do have a ,/opt/wdb/opt/langtools/bin/vdb but it still references v3.1 when I issue a "show version"
Same if i execute ,/opt/wdb/opt/langtools/bin/gdb...
???

Hi,

I dont think you could do with wdb since it refers a lot in the installation path. Rather, you can copy 3.1 to /tmp and reinstalling wdb 5.2 to /opt/langtools/

It depends upon your installation. How did you try to install the new version of wdb? You have to relocate the new wdb. so that you can try to use both.
