xwd, xpr to a color xereox printer

I need caputure a screen shot on HPUX and send it to a color xerox postscript printer. In the past we have used xwd to a utility called xwd2ps then sent it to the printer. But with the newer fx graphics boards, the xwd2ps utility will not convert a multi-plane image. Is there another way of doing this?

You should probably give NetPBM. It's more powerful and flexible than xpr.

Another option is to use an image capture program like xv (xview), Gimp and QIV, then print it. I beleive xv is X-based, Gimp and QIV is gtk-based.

Another option is ImageMagick.

You can depots built for HP-UX here:

Not supported by HP, but of good quality. Much more functionality than xwd and company.
