Hi Bertman,

Oracle 10g Realese 2 software CD should have the documentation. You will also find Installation Guides in OTN and Oracle Metalink.

Here are few notes from Oracle Metalink. Note:43507.1 advises the HP-UX Patch Levels for Oracle. They are not the complete patchsets, only a short list that are applicable to Oracle RDBMS Server versions 7,8,9 and 10 and covers both 32 and 64 bit Oracle.

Note:283747.1 discusses "Pre-Install checks for 10gR1 RDBMS (10.1.x) - HPUX Itanium Platforms".

hi bertman,

As indira mentions above, you should go through the pre-install steps first and run the Validate script to verify if you environment has been properly setup for a successful installation.
