    <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have faced the probelm about swinstall command. When I run it as root user, it fail and has the below error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR: you do not have the required permissions to perform this operation. check permissions using the "swacl" command or see your system administrator for assistance. Or, to manage applications designed and packaged for nonprivileged mode, see the "run_as_superuser" option in the "sd" man page &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do anyone give me an hand?</description>

      <description>I had a problem similar to this not too long ago.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think it was because dns had the host name in the lookup table but not in the reverse lookup table.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If none of the other suggestions work either rename your /etc/resolv.conf file or comment out all the lines in it then try.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Howard&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>See if the sofware depot is registered that you are trying to install from:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   swlist -l depot&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If not, register it&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   swreg -l depot &lt;PATH_TO_DEPOT&gt;&lt;/PATH_TO_DEPOT&gt;</description>
