Memory resource is constantly used by native_thread

Environment Info: HP-UX 11i, L3000, Command View SDM 1.06, Java 1.3.1.02, QPK June 2003) As current, system is very normal, performance is also fine. By glance, we found that the memory space occupied by "native_thread" constantly increases 4mb around every 12 hours around (please see attachment). Is the symption normal? From knowledeg base documents, CVSDM has ever caused memory leak issue for native_thread but it has been fixed on CVSDM 1.04. CU's current CVSDM version is 1.06. Please advise.

native_thread is a java process so the bug is likely with your version of java. Try a newer version - 1.4 is out now.

When starting java, you can make use of green threads and native threads(OS threads).

Also you can control memory sizes for initial heap sizes.

Thanks for your input.

After confirmed by HP, the solution is to upgrade CVSDM to 1.07 and Controller Firmware to PH19.
