It seems that my esteemed colleague and friend, Steven Protter has suddenly sprouted a bunch of leaves on his head!

Thanks to his untiring dedication and hard work, Steven has joined the hallowed ranks of the Forums Olympians. The trail he blazed across the desert is going to be even easier to follow than the empty beer bottles and overflowing trash cans that Harry and I left. Please join me as I welcome him to Olympus and be sure also to offer him your heartiest congratulations.

It must have been 12 or 13 months for you to reach the highest level.
Always in forum to give an excellent answer and I believe you would have been much faster with a connection to ITRC server without 404's and others.
;-)) Sorry Dan, couldn't resist ;-))

Also you path is very well to see (full of dust clouds) I believe most of us cannot follow you.
And some are still rotating in your turbulences. ;-))

Steven (A.K.A. SEP),

Your contributions to this forum in general are many.

Your work in the HP-UX section has been seen and appreciated by many. I can't say that I have ever read a post from you in that area without learning something (except for the times that the answers were completely over my head and just made my brain hemorrhage!). Many of us have benefited from both your knowledge and humor.

You have also taken the Linux forums under your wing recently and shown them the light (in a manner of speaking) and now that part of the forums so closely resembles the HP-UX section that it is hard to tell them apart at times. No easy task, but you made it look as if it were.

It is obvious to me that you are both well liked and well respected in these forums.

This honor was and is well placed. I can think of nobody who deserves it any more so than you.

My congratulations to you on your achievements both in accumulating the points for this new ranking and in making so many friends in the process. Neither of these accomplishments would be considered easy by themselves, but you have managed both in a rather short period of time.

Enjoy your stay on Mt. Olympus!
