    <description>Are you bay any chance mixing 10.20 and 11.00  depots ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also the use of '-x autoselect_dependencies=false -x enforce_dependencies=false' may be of good use to you.</description>

      <title>swcopy &amp; swinstall problem</title>

      <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;I have a patch bundle on a tape and I want to add a new patch to the bundle before intalling.&lt;BR /&gt;I copy the patch bundle by the tape to a directory. Then I do the following&lt;BR /&gt;swcopy -s mypatch.depot \* @ patchbundledirectory&lt;BR /&gt;First error is "patch maypatch.depot: the source is a tape, cannot open the logfile on this target source. possibly the media is read-only..."&lt;BR /&gt;but my file permission are 755&lt;BR /&gt;Then swcopy has analysis succeded...&lt;BR /&gt;So when i launch swinstall -s patchbundledirectory and do an Install analysis mypatch has errors: mypatch is not AVAILABLE... make it sure its state is AVAILABLE...&lt;BR /&gt;But if I launch swisntall -s mypatch.depot Install analysis response is OK&lt;BR /&gt;Anybody can help me?       <description>Hi Roberto,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swcopy -s /dev/rmt/?m \* @ /full_path_to/depot&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swinstall -s /full_path_to/depot -x patch_match_target=true PATCHNAME&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the swcopy complains about patch being already in the depot, you could eiter:&lt;BR /&gt;swremove&lt;BR /&gt;or &lt;BR /&gt;use flags '-x reinstall=true'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Dan&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I fixed the problem creating _ACL files in catalog directory... the log indicated that some file were not found...&lt;BR /&gt;I relaunched swcopy doing reinstall=yes and then swinstall run ok...&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
