Kernel Parameter setting

We are implementing BaanIVc4 with Informix IDS9.40 Database on HP-UX 11i.
I would like to know what all kernel parameters need to set? and what will be the velues or any guideline to set these values.

Though I'm sure that the document thatr Robert gave you will be more accurate, there's also a database template you can load using SAM, that will give you usual kernel parms for database servers.

I received the attached document from HP Support when one of my fellow SA's requested the settings from HP. See attachment.

Possibly a little dated, but it's worked just fine for me to date.

Bah, please ignore previous reply, it's for Oracle, not for Informix. *blush*
