    <description>1.  If you get a depot CD from HP, copy it to a disk file depot like this:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;  log in as root&lt;BR /&gt;  swcopy -s /dev/rmt/0m -x enforce_dependencies=false \&lt;BR /&gt;      \* @ /depots/&lt;DEPOTS_NAME&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2.  If you want to convert a depot to a sequential file, to copy to another machine, then do this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swpackage -s /depots/patch11.0 -d /tmp/filename  \&lt;BR /&gt;    -x target_type=tape &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3.  But if you make a depot on machine A, then to install on machine B, all you have to do is:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  swinstall -s A:/depots/&lt;DEPOT name=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You don't have to copy the file...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/DEPOT&gt;&lt;/DEPOTS_NAME&gt;</description>

      <description>/dev/rmt/0m above is a from a tape.  Use source depot name if from CD (i.e. - /cdrom).</description>
