Thanks for all your help, Using your tips I have found that I am not using 8.9.3 sendmail, but rather 8.8.5, yes that old. Does anyone know if HP has a download sites for a prepackaged sendmail 8.9.3, or do I need to go to sendmail.org?

Hi,

http://hpux.cs.utah.edu only has prepackaged sendmail-8.8.8 dated 24 Feb 1998. I am afraid you may have to compile from the source from http://www.sendmail.org.
