    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for the speedy reply. I had tried disabling SNMP before, it worked fine in HP-UX, but the printer that I had its SNMP removed also lost its capability to print in Windows (the printers are being used for Windows printing, as well). So, disabling the SNMP is not really an alternative here.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have around 20 odd printers configure in my HP-UX 11.11. Everything's fine, except for the SNMP traps. Every now and then, the server will send traps to the printers to get the status of the printers. How do I disable this feature? It's generating quite a lot of traffic and root's mailbox will always be filled with lots of e-mail telling me that some printers are out of paper.</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Perhaps a simple answer but how about disabling SNMP on the HP-UX server. This files you can find in /etc/rc.config.d.</description>
