    <description>dear all , thanks for ur time&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i wanted to install openssl-0.9.8 but i ve an error when i make ./config no-threads -fPIC&lt;BR /&gt;------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Operating system: 9000/800-hp-hpux1x&lt;BR /&gt;WARNING! If you wish to build 64-bit library then you have to&lt;BR /&gt;         invoke './Configure hpux64-parisc2-cc' *manually*.&lt;BR /&gt;         You have about 5 seconds to press Ctrl-C to abort.&lt;BR /&gt;------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;what this message mean&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks all&lt;BR /&gt;B.R</description>

      <description>You have to run something like, &lt;BR /&gt;./Configure threads shared zlib --openssldir=/usr/openssll hpux-gcc &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just take a look at ./Configure --help to get options. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Arun</description>

      <description>It means exactly what it says.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you want you program to be compiled as 64-bit, you must abort and run this:&lt;BR /&gt;"./Configure hpux64-parisc2-cc"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Otherwise, you just wait and it will be compiled as 32-bit.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If your system is 64bit, it's better to compile it as 64bit as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Alex.</description>

      <description>HP supported OpenSSL is bit older(OpenSSL 0.9.7e,).
