Hi,

I would like to don't ask me for a password when i try to map the sharing by Cifs Server in the Windows 2003 Client

HP-UX 11.23
The Cifs Version:
CIFS-Client A.01.09.03 CIFS Client
CIFS-Development A.01.11.04 HP CIFS Server Source Code Files
CIFS-Server A.01.11.04 HP CIFS Server (Samba) File and Print Services

The smb.conf is attach

mount it with cifsmount -U option first and all subsequest mounts should not ask the password.

How do you do network authentication.

Samba/CIFS can be integrated with network configuration for:

ADS
LDAP

That and smb.conf changed to server security and integrated into the PDC (Primary Domain Controller) will do the job.

I resolved the problem, but i have an another problem.

I change the security to share, but the file permission is not correct, is smbnull when i created file by windows.

I would like to create file by windows with user permission: prdadm:sapsys

For your shares, set the force user/group option in smb.conf for each share:

force user = prdadm
force group = sapsys
