Hi,

Can any one advise me how to get to an SQL prompt in Informix. At present the customer is running 9.21.

I hope its called "dbaccess".

Hi,

Thanks for the help is there anyway as in Oracle to discover what the database name is for the instance after I enter dbaccess - -.

dbaccess -- <<-EOF
show databases;
EOf
