It looks like you have incorrect permissions on /var/mail/moon01

This file should be set to

-rw-rw----

and should be owned by moon01 and group mail.

This will allow the sendmail daemon to write to the file.

If permissions is not a problem, check file system .

Have gotten similiar message when /var/spool/
had filled ....

In my case it was because of an over filled lp queue ... but could as well be the /var/spool/mqueue or /var/spool/mail/ .

( would depend on the file system )
